Duophonik is a musical partnership of Christopher King
+ Jeff Griffiths.
They write and produce original music for film and television in Vancouver and Victoria, BC on Canada’s west coast.
For 30 years Chris and Jeff have written, performed and recorded music together. Both have had their own careers and musical journeys throughout this time. In 2020 the pair were commissioned to write a series of original compositions for a series of special events. This successful partnership rekindled the pair’s musical relationship and they have been collaborating constantly for the past two years.
Duophonik also creates production-music tracks with several currently available through a London, UK sync-music library.

CHRISTOPHER KING
Christopher is an accomplished composer, arranger/orchestrator, musical director, performer and actor with dozens of successful productions over the past 25 years.
His credits include music director for 42nd Street, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, Oklahoma, The Music Man and Fiddler On The Roof. He has written original music for many theatre productions as well for Knowledge Network and many commercial clients.
He is based in Vancouver, BC.

JEFF GRIFFITHS
Jeff is a multi-instrumentalist and media composer with a background in narration production and advertising. He studied cello for 15 years and has recorded and played live with a wide variety of artists over the past 25 years.
His successful career has taken him from work producing narration and soundtracks, to being a partner in a graphic design firm, art directing for television, and to an executive role in the real estate development industry. In 2017 he returned to writing and producing music professionally.
He is based in Victoria, BC.
OUR STUDIOS
Duophonik’s primary studio is located in Victoria, BC with a writing studio located in Vancouver.
The Victoria studio is setup for conceptual work through to recording and final mixing. It features professional monitoring, a wide selection of acoustic and electronic instruments and a huge assortment of worldclass sample libraries.
When larger groups are required we have relationships with a network of professional musicians and access to recording studios in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island.
